Holidays 2010

We have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season! Thank-you to our families for traveling west this year to see us before and during the holidays. We know it is not easy to get here and Harper loved seeing you all so much. Harper also wanted to send special holiday hugs to all the wonderful letters, presents and love that was sent on Santa's sleigh. We hope your holidays were filled with love and laughter and wish we could be with you all during this special time of the year.

Loryn was able to flee the snowfall in MN just in time to get to Bend for another large storm. Mt Bachelor received 5 feet of snow in just 5 days! Back at our house it was a white Christmas but we stayed warm next to the fire and watched Harper play with all the toys that magically appeared under the little tree. Thanks so much to Loryn for the truly wonderful mobile and truck/trailer stuffy that she had a MN artist make for us. We all love it and we are finding that the mobile buys us an extra 1/2 hour of Harper staying in bed in the morning.

Marty, Diane and Anna joined us just a bit after Christmas after braving the Mt Hood pass by car. I'm proud to have such road warriors in the family! Anna also must have the snow magic because the snow started to fall when they arrived and did not stop until they left 3 days later! Anna was positively a blast to snowboard with at Mt Bachelor. The weather and conditions were extreme and she made it look like Mt Bachelor was her home mountain.

Running to the Tree...
(don't you wish we could hold on to that feeling forever?)

Philosophers and deep thinkers unite...

Harper loves her new building blocks! Thanks Lynn and Jim!

Back at the base...

Grandpa: "I love my new Michigan Sweatshirt and Sweatpants!"

Ann and Joan: "Thanks for my little baby! I can't wait to show my brother!"

This is the most unbelievable thing I have ever seen. Thanks Loryn!

So much love for my new stuffy Cow!

What is going on here?!
