Harper told us she needed to practice her walking on a suitable Oregon beach. We loaded the crew into the car and found an excuse to make the trip (kayak deliveries). It was nice to take the smaller car this trip but with the 5 of us and a few of Ethan's sales samples there wasn't much room for beach gear.
It was nice to get out of Bend. August has brought some small fires and a dry heat. We were thrilled to hit the cool moist forests of the Oregon coast. It was no picnic herding the two dogs and Harper! They all were on the move and after a couple of hours we were totally wiped out and made the hike back to the car. The dogs and Harper had gotten the best of us...
