9 months!

We had a brilliant day snowshoeing up at Paulina Lakes, south of bend about 30 minutes. It was a bit tough getting up to the park but once we made it through the snow with the truck we were ready to play. Let me explain...Boo (the white one) cried like a baby the entire ride. The snow for the last mile was grabby and between that and the whining dog, Dad had a melt down and we had to turn back and run the little whiner around for a 1/2 mile. Then it was back in the car and up the hill. This time we made it. It helped to drench boo with water every time he whined. Harper enjoyed all of this and didn't mind getting hit with water while Dad drove and sprayed the water bottle to the back of the truck. (Karyn made me write all this).

Paulina Lakes are two bright blue volcanic lakes that feed into Paulina Creek. They are surrounded by jagged peaks. And Sunshine! Our destination was Paulina Falls, 3 short miles from the parking lot. Karyn kept the pace while Dad hauled the baby and the gear.

We had a nice photo shoot at the falls. We were feeling bad for not taking more photos of our adventures. We thought that Harper might hate us for a lack of photography someday. Instead she can hate us for something else. Here are the photos:

Someone got tired of all the photos...
