Happy New Year!
Bend has received a little bit of every type of weather over the holidays. We've skied, hiked and hid out through it all. Harper had her first evening away from Mom and Dad where she caught some sleep over at our friends John and Heather's place so that Dad could play music and Mom could dance.

We can't wait until she can join everyone on the dance floor.
Harper's nursery is going to get a fresh paint job and decor in the next couple of days. She has been really enjoying all the new foods. She has the most fun with colors that can stain everything. She also helped oversee the planting of our Christmas Tree (something we hope to do every year).

Aunt Loryn has been playing with Harper and getting some new types of laughs out of her--the inhale laugh (sounds like a dragon taking a breath) and the "through the nose" laugh (sounds like an air compressor).
Harper is going to miss the visitors and fun we have had over the holiday break. For us adults, it is back to work. Harper met a nice college student who is studying child care and works mornings at a local day care. She will be helping out some during the day, especially when Dad is on the road.
Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for all the presents and well wishes!
